At the Alves Group, we combine supramolecular chemistry, biomaterials, nanomaterials, polymers, and electrochemistry to develop advanced functional systems.

Our research focuses on peptide-based materials, biointerfaces, electrochemical biosensors, microneedle technologies, and drug-delivery platforms, connecting fundamental molecular understanding with applications in diagnostics and healthcare.
